TRUTH. Good morning Daily Dosers. Did you all have a good weekend? Did you assess and re-assess whether or not you are working HARDER, BETTER, FASTER, STRONGER? I hope this message finds you nodding a “yes” because Fall is upon us. The air is getting crisp, the leaves will soon change colors and then fall, and soon the nights will come sooner. It’s autumn. The season for harvest, and it should be a good time for you. Yea, I know we are transitioning into our colder seasons, but this is one of my favorite times of the year because (a) the heat of the Summer is just at its whit’s end, and (b) this is the time for gathering mature crops from the field – metaphorically speaking, that is unless you are a real farmer. So let me ask you this morning a very important question?
What have you been doing all Spring and Summer? Did you plant good seeds? Are you benefiting from good choices made over the course of the warmer seasons? If so, great!! If not, it isn’t too late. Today, start where you are by letting go of the things in your life that are not working. If it’s a person that is keeping you from getting to the next level, it is TIME FOR HIM/HER TO GO!! If it’s a mindset, you know what? It’s TIME FOR YOU TO CHANGE YOUR MIND!! And if you are taking care of everyone else at the sacrifice of taking care of yourself, then it is TIME FOR YOU TO PUT YOURSELF FIRST regardless of what they may say!! There’s nothing worse than undue co-dependency from someone who isn’t a child. You can’t keep someone else warm if you are cold. Get it?
The DDR: So ponder on this this Monday morning. The more time you invest in yourself, the better off you’ll be. Stop worrying about “them” and focus on “you.” It’s harvest time!!

When you are engaged in service to your family, friends and community, it is easy to lose sight of yourself. It is a noble sacrifice but if you do not take care of yourself than those sacrificial gifts will run out. These words you deliver today are words I need every so often to remember to put myself first. Peace and blessings.
